That Jesus, he's pretty cool.

Sophia loves a bedtime story. Since last Christmas, her stories of choice have been from her Disney Princess book that we gave her as a gift but came to regret after reading the LONG stories night after night. A couple of weeks ago Sophia's preferences changed to wanting her nightly story from her Children's Bible. Her favorite story by far is the story where Jesus turns water into wine--it's the wedding in the story, not the alcohol, that she loves.

Last night Sophia decided to try a new story and chose the one where Jesus walks on the water. When we got to the point where Jesus is on the water, Sophia's eyes got wide as she said, "Walking on water!!!! That's hard! I've never done that before!!!" (This from the child who still swears she's never made a mistake.)
