Travis and I celebrated our 10th anniversary last week. Hard to believe. I am really happy with us. I'm happy that we've supported one another through some tough things: tornadoes, career changes, deaths of some family members and friends, and the challenges of parenting. I'm happy that we've gone though some really joyful times together as well: births of our babies, various holidays and vacations, the joys of parenting. I'm most happy that we still make each other laugh. A lot. Travis reminded me the other day that upon hearing of our engagement a mentor of mine said to me, "Well, does he cherish you? Because you should only marry him if the answer is yes." The answer then and now is yes. Everyday.
