Worlds of Fun . . .

This year we had season tickets to Worlds of Fun. On our trip to California we visited Great America. When we were planning that trip we discovered that Great America and Worlds of Fun are owned by the same company and that for a small amount more than our passes to Great America we could get season tickets that would let us into both parks. It has been wonderful. When you have a four/five year old and a two year old you really don't want to spend an entire day at a theme park. The season passes have let us enjoy the park in smaller doses.

The children's area if Worlds of Fun is Camp Snoopy. Snoopy and the gang make regular appearances, and they have an interactive Snoopy show where the kids can get on stage and "perform" with the characters. I have to say that our Sophia is quite the star when put on stage with a few fourteen year old kids in over sized costumes. Grant and Sophia have loved visiting with Snoopy.

So has Travis. You know that Travis just loved getting this hug from Snoopy. I'm so glad I had my camera ready when Snoopy cornered him. He's a good sport though, isn't he?

Grant's favorite ride is the swings. One of the advantages of low attendance at Worlds of Fun is that Grant gets to ride the swings several times before he ever has to get off!

Sophia is quite the dare devil. She will go on any ride that she is tall enough to be allowed to go on. Do you think this is a fake smile?

How about this one? I'm not sure where these came from.

One more.

The boys.
