Love bites . . .

Sophia has an admirer. It seems a little boy named Kaden at Sophia's school has quite the thing for her. Actually, the word that her teacher used was "obsession". Apparently Kaden follows Sophia around all day trying to win her attention. Sounds kind of cute, doesn't it? Yesterday Kaden's attempt to win Sophia's attention involved trying to take a chuck out of her bicept with his teeth. Yeah, not so cute. Fortunately he didn't break the skin, and although Sophia has a bruise in the shape of Kaden's bite, she's no worse for it. Sophia's teachers felt terrible, but honestly, I think Sophia kind of enjoyed getting an ice pack and being allowed to have her pacifier at a time other than nap time.

It also seems that Grant is doing quite well with the ladies. Grant does have a few friends at school who are boys, but he tells me his "favorite" friends are girls. Grant has an aid in his class, and everyday his aid sends a note home telling me what Grant did in school that day, things he did well, and things that he is working on. Yesterday his aid said that the teacher was taking pictures of the kids to hang in the classroom and several of the girls wanted to have their picture taken with Grant. All I can say is that the girls in Grant's class have good taste.
