It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas . . .

Winter has come to Liberty! We got about 2 inches of snow this week. Two inches is about the perfect amount--you can have fun without being inconvenienced by bad roads! More snow (this time with ice)is predicted for next week, so we may end up with a snow day or two.

The snow came while Grant was in school and he could hardly wait to get home to play outside. Let me say the walk home from school was quite a time!

Sophia is not usually one for cold weather, but getting to play in the snow was worth being a little cold. You have to admit that she looks like a little snow angle, doesn't she?

This is Grant's version of a snow ball fight. He can't be bothered with actually packing the snow into a ball. He just picks up a bunch of snow and tosses towards someone. At least the chances of a black eye aren't as high with Grant's method.

This is a daddy who will do anything to make his little girl happy. Sophia wanted daddy to make a snow angle. What a guy!

The inside of our house is looking like Christmas, too. We put up our tree last weekend. This picture is of Sophia "helping" Daddy trim the bottom of the tree in the garage.

Santa Grant.

Sophia found a star ornament.

And an Pooh Bear.

Grant's favorite ornament is the silver bell. Of course it is. Nice and loud. Ahh the sound of Christmas!

I'm jealous of your snow, but not the cold weather! I miss those precious kiddos!
